We all have encountered situations where Disk cleanup is not available, System Protection is off, and still “System Volume Information” Folder is huge in size. So, How do we clean it?

Simple, We can clean it using “DiskShadow” to delete the shadow copies manually.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Run CMD as Administrator
  2. Run the following commands:
diskshadow
Diskshadow> list shadows all
Diskshadow> delete shadows all
